Apmcai Batch 2 Nurses Participated in Basic Life Support Training Copy
In a significant development for healthcare professionals, the second batch of dedicated nurses has successfully completed a rigorous Basic Life Support (BLS) Training program last August 11,2023. The intensive training, organized by the Philippine College of Physicians (PCP) Capiz Aklan Chapter, aimed to equip these nurses with vital life-saving skills that are crucial for effectively responding to medical emergencies.
This training initiative, conducted over the past few weeks, focused on enhancing the nurses’ ability to act as first responders in critical situations, where quick and accurate interventions can mean the difference between life and death. By instilling comprehensive knowledge and practical techniques related to basic life support, the nurses are now better equipped to handle urgent medical crises with confidence and precision.
The program emphasized a wide range of essential skills, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), airway management, and the proper usage of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). These skills are indispensable in scenarios such as cardiac arrests, choking incidents, and other life-threatening emergencies.
